From the supplier: A survey conducted by the Insurance Research Council reveals that 49% of respondents would hire an attorney if they were injured in an automobile accident despite the fact that 81% of respondents believe that they would be treated fairly by auto insurance companies. The findings are significant since the level of attorney involvement in auto insurance claims has increased from 34% of all claims in 1977 to the current level of 57%.
