Smallest increase in South Dakota Auto Insurance Rates
Although the cost of auto insurance claims are rising, the Insurance
Information Institute reports that South Dakota auto insurance
rates and rates nationwide are expected to rise by only 3.5
percent in 2004. Drivers with good driving records may even see their
South Dakota auto insurance rates decrease.
The increase in South Dakota auto insurance rates are caused by higher
cost of repairs, increase cost of medical claims, higher jury awards
in auto liability cases, and an increase in auto theft and auto
insurance fraud.
